Chelsea sings, writes, and performs music at every opportunity. Before moving to New York, she was the lead singer of the band Black Night Red, an alternative rock group based in Cleveland Ohio that performed at The Odeon, Peabody's, The Hi-Fi, as well as many other venues. Later, Chelsea teamed up with her good friend Brett Warner, of The Digital Pickup Line, to form Tennis Academy. Using samples, charged guitars, and Chelsea's vocals, the duo released a series of singles and have plans for a larger compilation. Currently Chelsea is working on new music with former bandmate Dan Singer. The two have played at The Chautauqua Institution and opened for singer-songwriter Kate Klim.
